Conch Fritters ala ME....My own recipe.Ingredients: 5-6 large conch 1 medium onion 1 lime/lemon 1/4 hot pepper remove seeds 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 sweet pepper 2 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 11/2 - 2 cups water Method: Clean conch with lime. Blend conch with onion,sweet pepper and hot pepper. Not smooth more like a coarse blend so that you can still see chunks of conch. Put ground conch, flour baking powder, salt and black pepper. Mix well Add water little at a time mix well. Mixture should be thick not runny. Heat frying pan with oil( we use coconut oil) Drop dessert spoon in hot pan and brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel Serve hot. This recipe yields 15 to 20.. Enjoy
