Ingredients:
1/2 lb flour 4 ozs sugar
11/2 tsps baking powder 1/2 cup milk
3 ozs margarine 1 egg
2 ozs raisins 1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp vanilla essence
Sift flour and baking powder. Add margarine, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and raisins. Beat egg, milk and vanilla together and mix into flour to form a stiff dough. Form into round balls and slightly flatten on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375* for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 12 to 15 buns.
